Visitors arriving more than half an hour late will not be admitted.
Weekdays:
- Monday: A wing 9:30am to 11am and 2:30pm to 4pm
- Tuesday: B wing 9:30am to 11am
- Wednesday: C wing 9:30am to 11am and 2:30pm to 4pm
- Thursday: D wing 9:30am to 11am and 2:30pm to 4pm
- Friday: E wing 9:30am to 11am
Weekends:
D and E wing visits on the following dates (Saturdays only):

Wormwood Scrubs has a rich history, dating back to its construction between 1875 and 1891 by inmates from Milbank Gaol. The facility underwent a major refurbishment about 15 years ago, including the addition of a new wing.
As of June 2021, the prison's population profile included:
- 1,664 new prisoners annually (roughly 139 per month)
- 339 foreign national prisoners
- 55% of inmates belonging to black and minority ethnic backgrounds
- 64% of prisoners awaiting sentencing
- 147 prisoners discharged into the community monthly
- 263 prisoners receiving substance abuse support
