Book A Visit At Barlinnie Prison
Sentenced guilty party’s visits are reserved by the wrongdoers and it’s their obligation to illuminate their families/companions of the date and time. They are qualified for at least 2 hours in any multi day time span.
Remand visits at Barlinnie are reserved by detainee’s families, calling the immediate booking line on 0141 770 2109 (Weekdays 9am to 1pm, and 2pm to 4pm/Saturdays 9am to 1pm). Remand detainees might have one visit each day Monday to Friday and one at the end of the week. Visits should be reserved 24 hours ahead of time.

Train to Barlinnie Prison: The closest stations are at Alexandra Parade and Carntyne, both somewhere around 30 minutes stroll from the jail.

Bus to Barlinnie Prison: First Bus number 38/38A/38C stop close to the jail (First Bus 38B and 38E don’t go to HMP Barlinnie and there are other transport organizations with number 38 transports which don’t go to Barlinnie – check with the driver certainly).
